For municipalities

Residents arrive prepared, with permit answers that show their sources.

Munibot matches each resident's address to your jurisdiction and builds a permit plan that links to official sources, so people reach your counter with the right documents in mind. Today it links to the official pages it finds for your jurisdiction; letting your staff link or upload your adopted rules is what we would build next with a pilot partner.

Municipalities

Residents arrive prepared. Answers show their sources.

The problem: Staff answer the same zoning and permit questions every week, and incomplete applications slow every review.

Your rules, maintained by your staff

Munibot supports staff review; it never determines code compliance, assessed value, or flight authorization.

What you get

What your team and residents get today

Documents and inspections up front

Each resident permit plan includes a document checklist, the inspections to expect, and what to do before applying.

Findings link to their sources

Each zoning and code finding in a resident's permit plan links to the page it was drawn from, so residents and staff can check it.

With a drone operator on Munibot

Parcel audits where a person reviews every finding and approves each report before it is published, and a read-only portal where your staff download the reports shared with you.

How it stays honest

Every report shows what it was built on.

  • Your address, your jurisdiction

The project address is resolved with the US Census Geocoder to its state, county, and municipality, and the report shows the jurisdiction it found and whether the match was exact, likely, or unresolved.

  • Grounding is recorded, not implied

Each new report is labeled with how it was grounded: a live web search, or generic defaults when no lookup ran. Reports grounded on rules your office provides are not available yet.

  • Check the source yourself

Every finding links to the page it came from. Munibot does not verify that a page is the jurisdiction's own, so the report tells residents to confirm with the matched authorities, who have the final word.

  • Residents confirm with you

Reports are planning guidance, not a zoning determination, code-compliance review, or permit decision, and they state that the matched authorities have the final word.

Munibot supports staff review; it never determines code compliance, assessed value, or flight authorization.
